The other day, I came across a t-shirt that read “I’ll pay more for good design.” Now granted, I found it on a site I’d gotten from CoolHunter as I was looking for Hanukkah gifts, and the store was in Brooklyn and all that.

agree up to a point. i would say "substance" is the new advertising. with good design being a given. the iphone is a perfect example. the razr being the imperfect example.
i just got my iphone. heaven! praises and blessings be upon the house of Jobs.
i read recently that advertising is the tax you pay for being unremarkable. so true.
